What a celebration it was to hear the first chord! It was the sweetest sound. Right off the bat, I simply loved it! It plays so in tune all over the neck and I swear I even heard sound coming from the pegs! It's everything I could hope for in a professional instrument: playability, sound, and of course, beauty. I look forward to making many recordings with this lovely instrument. I know that it has the potential to make magical music.

Okay, in a word, “WOW”! Visually the guitar is simply stunning. The tone woods, the bindings, the purflings and the overlays all combine to form something truly special. The guitar just exudes quality and class. I’ve shown it to a few of friends, and they are all somewhat awe struck by the guitar's presence and visual impact. I was surprised by how easy it plays, and I really only feel the increased scale length on stretches of 4 or 5 frets. The tone is amazing. This guitar has a surprising amount of string to string separation and balance. This guitar and string combo appears to really enjoy the ‘Bb’ and ‘B’ tuning. As you mentioned, I can pretty much play whatever I want in whatever style I choose with the B tuning. I was REALLY surprised by this. I just didn’t think I’d be able to use 5 and 6 voices at once, but it’s really not a problem. The guitar is loud, lush and balanced. Despite the low frequencies, the guitar records AMAZINGLY well. I recorded a couple of things to get a feel for how the guitar responds to my recording environment, and was ecstatic. The OM I bought from you back in 2002 went through a pretty stunning transformation after about 18 months. It started out a super nice guitar, and then morphed into a tone monster. The funny thing was that the opening up process seemed to happen very quickly. I’m very curious how the baritone is going to respond to playing. It’s going to be a lot of fun playing the guitar and hearing how it matures. Consider me a VERY, VERY happy camper.

Fabrizio Alberico has now officially attained God-like stature in my mind... The flowing lines and flawless proportions of Fabrizio's instruments make them an absolute joy to look at... The incredible "open" sonority of his instruments convinces you immediately that this builder has squeezed every drop of tone and power from his guitars... The craftsmanship is impeccable.

It is one of the most elegant instruments I've ever seen... you are truly an artist. The volume and balance of this instrument are nothing short of amazing. It has a real presence that I cannot define yet. The guitar has perfect mids and perfect trebles without sacrificing any of the bass, which is full and warm and wonderful. And the sustain!! It just goes on and on...

The guitar sang with the crystal clarity of a Gregorian choir in a hermitage. I dropped the guitar into a low C and it opened a bottom end with resonance I hadn't heard before, ever.& Sometimes you find an instrument that bestows on you a voice you can't speak otherwise. The Alberico is a work by a craftsman who's built with his hands an instrument that can speak the voice of the heart.

There’s a great scope of voice possibilities in these guitars. All the way up the neck, playability and responsiveness are truly exceptional.

Thank you for the guitar. It is one of those rare instruments with a personality all its own. It has a deep, sweet tone with magically long sustain.

When playing, I sense the instrument is listening to me with the same intensity as I listen to it.
